Two riders, two dogs, one shop. Here's who's behind HawgDog Gear.

Ratchett Thundurstudt
Ratchett grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, surrounded by engines, and learned to wrench on bikes before he could drive a car. These days he rides a classic cruiser on Michigan back roads all season long, usually with Diesel, his reddish-gold golden retriever, waiting at home for the next walk.
At HawgDog Gear, Ratchett is the one answering your questions, tracking your orders, and helping you find gear that works as hard as you ride. Questions about fit, shipping, or which gear suits your ride? Just ask Ratchett at ratchett@hawgdoggear.com.

Alan Ternpyk
Alan Ternpyk grew up in Wyandotte, Michigan, just down the river from Detroit. His dad put in 30 years at the Ford Rouge plant, and his garage always smelled like two-stroke oil. These days Alan lives in Dexter and rides a matte black 2019 Indian Chief Dark Horse with a big 111 V-twin. He bought it with a blown stator and rebuilt it himself over one long Michigan winter.
Riding shotgun whenever he's allowed is Lugnut, a brindle boxer mix Alan adopted from the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Lugnut loves back roads, hates being left home, and has never met a gas station attendant he didn't like.
Before HawgDog, Alan spent about 12 years as the advertising specialist for a chain of Michigan bicycle shops, building their newspaper ads, catalogs, and in-store displays. Now he's the product guy at HawgDog Gear. He brings new designs to life, picks the shirts, tanks, and hoodies they go on, and makes sure every piece looks right before it hits the store. General questions or order help? orders@hawgdoggear.com always works too.
